Free creator tool

Create clean YouTube chapters from your outline

Generate evenly spaced starting timestamps, copy them into the description, and then match each time against the final cut. Free to use in your browser, with no signup or installation.

Use it with purpose

A practical workflow, not a ranking promise.

Follow the chapter requirements

YouTube requires the first timestamp to begin at 00:00, at least three timestamps in ascending order, and chapters that last at least ten seconds. The generator follows that basic structure. Your final edit determines the real boundaries, so treat generated times as a planning draft.

Name sections for navigation

A chapter label should tell viewers what they will reach, not merely repeat “Part One” or “Next Step.” Use short descriptions such as choosing a target phrase, editing the opening, or reading retention. Clear labels improve scanning and make it easier to revisit valuable moments later.

Check the final cut before publishing

Editing changes timing. After the video export is final, play from every proposed timestamp and move it to the true section beginning. Confirm the order, remove accidental overlaps, and keep labels consistent with what is actually said or shown. A clean chapter list is more useful than a long inaccurate one.
